Cricket betting at tk666 — bet on all formats from BPL, IPL and T20 to Test
Cricket is the most popular sport in Bangladesh. From T20 to Test — every format has its own intensity. At tk666 you can bet on all these matches across various markets and make decisions by following live odds.
Cricket formats and tournaments — what each one looks like
Each format has a different style of play, and the betting markets differ too.
T20
The fastest format. Each team gets only 20 overs. BPL (Bangladesh Premier League) and IPL are both played in this format. Interest in the T20 World Cup is also very high. The situation can change on every ball, which makes this format especially popular for live betting.
T20 · BPL · IPLODI
In a 50-over ODI match the game is longer, yet the tension holds right to the end. Most matches in ICC tournaments and bilateral series are played in the ODI format. The Bangladesh Tigers' performances are most closely followed here.
ODI · ICC · SeriesTest
Five-day Test cricket is the longest and most strategic format. Pitch conditions, weather and the form of batters and bowlers all have a much greater influence here. Betting markets are also broader — from series winner to day-by-day performance.
Test · Series · Five days
BPL, IPL and international matches
BPL is Bangladesh's domestic T20 league — the competition between local teams here holds special appeal for Bangladeshi fans. IPL is India's biggest T20 league and millions of viewers around the world follow it. Every Bangladesh Tigers match in the T20 World Cup and ICC tournaments gets betting markets on tk666.

Football and other sports betting
Alongside cricket, football betting is also popular on tk666. There are opportunities to bet on English Premier League, Spanish La Liga and FIFA World Cup matches. In football a draw is a common result — so the match winner market has three options: Team A wins, Team B wins, or draw. In cricket's limited-overs formats there is usually no draw — only Test matches can end in a draw.
Markets are also available for tennis, basketball and e-sports. However, the approach to betting differs by sport: in cricket, live odds shift quickly when a wicket falls or the run rate changes; in football the same happens when a goal is scored. In a multi bet you can combine selections from multiple sports, which increases the combined odds but also the risk.

Cricket vs football — the differences
- In cricket, odds change instantly based on wickets and overs
- In football, goals and red cards cause immediate market movement
- In cricket's T20 and ODI formats there is no draw — one team always wins
- In football, a draw is a separate market option
Popular betting markets — how they work
Each market works differently — simple examples are explained below.
Match Winner
A bet on which of the two teams will win. In T20 or ODI there are only two options — Team A or Team B. Example: Team A odds 1.65, Team B odds 2.30.
Simple · PopularToss Winner
A bet on which team will win the toss before the match starts. Two options, roughly equal odds. This is unrelated to match performance — it is a completely separate market.
Pre-match · Quick resultTop Run Scorer
A bet on which player will score the most runs for a team. Example: pick the top batter for Team A — if they score the most runs in that innings, you win.
Team-based · AnalyticalTotal Runs Over / Under
A bet on whether a set run total will be exceeded or not. Example: will total runs in the first innings be more than 160 — yes or no. The result is clear as soon as the runs are counted.
Standalone · Runs-basedMulti Bet
Combining multiple selections into a single bet. The odds are multiplied, so the potential return increases. But if any one selection loses, the entire bet is lost. Example: 3 selections with odds 1.60 × 1.80 × 1.90 = 5.47.
Higher return · Higher riskInnings Runs and Wickets Markets
A bet on how many runs will be scored in specific overs, or how many wickets a bowler will take. The powerplay runs market is especially popular in T20, because a great deal is decided in the first 6 overs.
Over-based · SpecialisedHow to read odds — three formats
Odds are written in three formats — decimal, fractional and American. tk666 primarily uses the decimal format, but all three can be seen in different markets.
| Odds format | Team A win odds (example) | Result on a ৳200 bet |
|---|---|---|
| Decimal | 2.25 | Win returns ৳450 (৳250 profit + ৳200 back) |
| Fractional | 5/4 | Win returns ৳450 — same calculation |
| American | +125 | Win returns ৳450 — same calculation |
Example 1: A ৳200 bet is placed on Team A to win. Decimal odds 2.25 = fractional 5/4 = American +125. If Team A wins you receive ৳450 — comprising ৳250 profit and your ৳200 stake returned. If Team A loses you lose ৳200.
Example 2: Team B is the favourite — odds 1.25 (fractional 1/4, American −400). American minus odds indicate how much you need to stake to make ৳100 profit. A ৳200 bet returns ৳250 (৳50 profit + ৳200).
Things to remember
- Decimal odds above 1.00 always mean your stake is returned
- Higher odds mean a bigger potential win — but the chance of winning is generally lower
- A favourite's decimal odds stay close to 1
- In a multi bet the odds are multiplied, increasing the return
- Betting is for entertainment — it is not a guaranteed source of income
Live betting — change your bet while the game is on
Live in-play betting is open
You can place bets even after a match has started — this is in-play or live betting. In cricket it is particularly useful because every wicket, every boundary and every change in run rate has an immediate effect on the odds.
Suppose in a T20 match Team A's target is 170 runs. After 10 overs the team has scored 70 runs and lost 3 wickets. The situation looks difficult — so Team A's odds to win will rise and Team B's will fall. New bets can be placed in the live market at this moment.
In ODI during the powerplay phase, or in Test cricket on a fifth-day pitch, live odds change rapidly. There is little time to decide, so it is important to play within your budget.
Useful betting tips — for beginners
Betting is a form of entertainment — it is not a guaranteed way to earn money. With that in mind, keeping the following points in check can make the experience better.
- Set a budget: Decide how much you will spend in each session beforehand and do not go beyond that limit.
- Start with one market: If you are new, get comfortable with just the match winner market first, then move on to others.
- Understand the odds before betting: Decimal odds of 2.0 mean ৳200 back on a ৳100 stake — a ৳100 profit. Keep that calculation in mind.
- Be careful with multi bets: Even if the odds are higher, one wrong selection means you lose everything — understand the risk.
- Do not rush in live betting: Odds change fast — make decisions with a clear head, not on impulse.
- Play responsibly: Betting should be enjoyable. Read the responsible gaming guidelines and stay within your limits.
